The Ad Hoc Tick Borne Disease Action Committee held a meeting on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at the Newtown Senior Center, 14 Riverside Road, Sandy Hook, CT
MINUTES
Present: Mark Alexander, Kirk Blanchard, Neil Chaudhary, David Delia, Mary Gaudet-Wilson, Peter Licht, Michele McLeod, Maggie Shaw and Kim Harrison; Absent: George Miller and Robert Grossman; Also Present: Pat Boily and David Shugarts.
Dr. McLeod convened the meeting at 8:00 p.m.
Mr. Chaudhary motioned to allow the two committee members who were absent at the last meeting to vote on the Town Management Strategies section. The motion was seconded by Mr. Miller. Motion approved unanimously.
Approve Minutes of December 8, 2010 - Mr. Alexander motioned to approve the minutes of December 8, 2010. Mr. Chaudhary seconded the motion. The minutes were approved as amended.

Vote on Additional Recommendations for Deer Section
The revisions of this portion of the report from the last meeting were discussed. Additional changes were made. The committee voted on the following portions of this section of the report.

Review Speaker Summaries
The committee members reviewed several speaker summaries, including: Kirby Stafford, Howard Kilpatrick, Randal Nelson, Dave Streit, S. Telfort, Tom Belote, and Pat Sesto.
The following have been deferred to January: Dr. Ostfeld (Dr. McLeod will work on this Summary);
Speakers from the Highstead seminars (Ms. Gaudet-Wilson will review her notes); Dr. DiNicola; Dr. Matt Pound; Dr. Rutberg; Rob Sibley; and Donna Culbert.

Dr. McLeod asked for everyone to check their votes posted in the minutes on the Town’s website.
Adjournment
Ms. Gaudet-Wilson motioned to adjourn the meeting at 10:15 pm. Mr. Alexander seconded the motion. Motion approved unanimously.
The next meeting is tentatively scheduled for January 19, 2011
